(Bees) Seeing them indicates attaining leadership and obtaining benefit. Bees indicate the people of the desert, and the people of toil and striving in earning, acquiring, gathering, and compiling. They may also indicate scholars, jurists, and authors of compilations, because honey is a healing, and the bees were inspired by revelation, taught their craft, and made expert in their work. They may also indicate the army and the soldiery, because they have a commander and a leader, which is the queen-bee (al-ya'sub), and among them are beasts of burden and mules. It is said that the bee is a person who earns, is prosperous, greatly beneficial, and of grave consequence.
