And perhaps the dome tent is a woman: one says "he pitched a dome tent" when a man consummates marriage with his wife. The origin of this is that whoever went in to his wife would pitch a dome tent over her on the night he went in to her, so it was said of everyone who goes in to his wife. 'Amr ibn Ma'dikarib said: "Did the Yemeni lightning not shine for him... flashing as though it were the lamp of one who is manifest" — he means that it is his family, so his lamp is not extinguished.
