Whoever sees in a dream that a person hates him, or that he hates a person, this is a bad indication for all people, because hatred is the cause of enmity, and enemies do not answer one another nor cooperate with one another, while people are in need of the assistance of their like among kings.

As for hatred, it is not praiseworthy, because love is a blessing from Allah the Exalted, and hatred is its opposite, and the opposite of blessing is hardship. Allah the Exalted has mentioned His favour upon the believers in removing the enmity that had been established among them through the love of Islam, for Allah the Exalted said: "When you were enemies, and He joined your hearts together, so that by His favour you became brothers."
