Abd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi, Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam

As for the Quran in a dream, reciting it from a written copy is command and prohibition, honour, joy, and victory.

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

(And whoever sees) that he is reciting the Quran by heart without a written copy, then he is a man who disputes over a right, and his claim is true, and he discharges whatever trust is in his hands; and he will be a believer, humble, enjoining good and forbidding evil.

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

(And whoever sees) that he was given something of the Quran, or that it was in his hand, let him keep in mind that verse or those letters of the Quran: if its revelation concerns mercy or glad tidings, then the interpretation of his vision is mercy or glad tidings that will reach him;

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

and if its revelation concerns an admonition, then it is an admonition by which Allah will benefit him if he acts upon it;

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

and if its revelation concerns a threat or a punishment, then that is a warning of retribution for a sin he has committed;

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

and if it concerns a narrative or a parable about the nations that have passed away, then it is an exhortation for him.

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, p. 269

Ibn Shahin al-Zahiri, al-Isharat fi Ilm al-Ibarat

So I ascended and turned my face, and there I was before a pulpit of white pearl, with a step of red ruby and a step of green chrysolite. It was said: "Ascend and recite." So I ascended, and He said to me: "Recite Surat al-An'am." So I recited, and I did not know before whom I was reciting, until I reached the head of the sixtieth verse: "And He is the Subduer over His servants." He said: "O Hamza, am I not the Subduer over My servants?" I said: "Yes indeed." He said: "You have spoken truly. Recite." So I recited al-A'raf until I reached its end, and I made a gesture to prostrate, but He said: "Enough for you; go on, do not prostrate. O Hamza, who taught you this recitation?" I said: "Sulayman." He said: "He spoke truly. And who taught Sulayman to recite?" I said: "Yahya." He said: "Yahya spoke truly." He said: "From whom did Yahya recite?" I said: "From Abu Abd al-Rahman." He said: "Abu Abd al-Rahman spoke truly." He said: "Who taught Abu Abd al-Rahman to recite?" I said: "The cousin of Your Prophet, Ali ibn Abi Talib." He said: "Ali spoke truly. And who taught Ali to recite?" I said: "Your Prophet, peace be upon him." He said: "My Prophet spoke truly. And who taught My Prophet to recite?" I said: "Jibril, peace be upon him." He said: "And who taught Jibril to recite?" I fell silent. He said: "O Hamza, say it yourself." I said: "I am not able to say it." He said: "Say it yourself." So I said: "You." He said: "You have spoken truly, O Hamza. By the truth of the Quran, I shall surely honour the people of the Quran, especially if they have acted upon the Quran. O Hamza, the Quran is My speech; I have not loved anyone as I love the people of the Quran. Draw near to Me, O Hamza." So I drew near, and He, glory be to Him, dipped His hand in the perfume and anointed me with it. Then He said: "I do not do this with you alone, O Hamza; I have done it with your peers, those above you and those below you, and with whoever recited the Quran as you recited it, desiring none but Me. And what I have stored up for you with Me is greater still. So inform your companions of My love for the people of the Quran, for they are the chosen and the best. O Hamza, by My might and My majesty, I shall not punish with the Fire a tongue that has recited the Quran, nor a heart that has retained it, nor an ear that has heard it, nor an eye that has looked upon it." I said: "Glory be to You, O Lord!" Then He said: "O Hamza, where are those who gaze into the copies of the Quran?" I said: "O Lord, do You mean those who preserve it by heart?" He said: "They are they, but I belong to them until they meet Me on the Day of Resurrection; and when they meet Me, I shall raise them a degree for every verse." Do you then blame me for weeping and rolling my face in the dust?

al-Isharat fi Ilm al-Ibarat, p. 271

attributed to Ibn Sirin, Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam

(And whoever sees) as though he is hearing the Quran, his authority will grow strong and his end will be good.

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

(And whoever sees) that the Quran-codex has been taken from him, then his knowledge will be stripped from him and his work in this world will be cut off.

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

(And whoever sees) that the Quran is being recited to him and he does not understand it, some hateful thing will befall him, either from Allah or from the ruler, because of His saying, exalted be He: "And they will say, 'Had we but listened or used reason, we would not have been among the companions of the Blaze.'"

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

So whoever sees that he is reciting a verse of mercy, and when he reaches a verse of punishment its recitation becomes difficult for him, he will attain relief.

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

(And whoever sees) that he is reciting a verse of punishment, and when he reaches a verse of mercy its recitation is not made possible for him, he will remain in hardship.

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

(And whoever sees) that he is completing the Quran, he will attain what he desires and his good will be abundant.

Muntakhab al-Kalam fi Tafsir al-Ahlam, pp. 75–76

al-Isharat fi Ilm al-Ibarat, p. 19

And it is said: whoever sees that he is reciting the Quran, then he will speak the truth. And Ibn Sirin said: he will become a judge, if that befits him.
