Al-Kirmani said: There is disagreement about his worship (peace be upon him) — by what did he worship? — based upon [the question of] whether he was bound to worship according to a previous revealed law or not. The second is the view of the majority, and their evidence is that had it existed it would have been transmitted, and because had it occurred there would have been in it a cause of aversion from him.
